With warm weather ahead of us I have found myself trying out different smoothie recipes. They are so versatile and I love trying new recipes and mixing different ingredients together. With feeding six mouths we all have different taste preferences. So making different smoothies with different ingredients in it is a must.
This new smoothie has quickly become a new favorite, especially with Finn! He absolutely loves it! It honestly tastes just like a milkshake, so creamy and delicious. I really love smoothies that are nice and creamy and that is one reason why we add yogurt to all of our smoothies.
Another reason we add yogurt is that yogurt has probiotics in it and they are great for gut health. Yogurt also adds extra protein and we all could use some protein! If you don’t like yogurt then you can just add liquid in place of it, like almond milk, milk, soy milk, whatever you prefer will work.
Ingredients:
- A handful of frozen peaches
- A handful of frozen strawberries
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 cup liquid of choice (we used half and half)
- 3/4 cup yogurt of choice (we used plain Greek yogurt)
Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend well until everything is combined. Serve immediately, we used these ingredients to get the maximum amount of flavor with the least amount of sugar as possible!
