I love the feel of sand between my toes, don’t you! Back at the end of winter as we were starting to finalize all of the plans for the new house I told my father that I wanted to put a bunch of sand down by the lake to make a beach and of course my father came through above and beyond as he always does! He loves to spoil his girl and he did a great job this time! I was so excited to make our beach so this weekend Fil and I built a huge sandbox and Fil and dad moved the sand down to our new beach!
I said I wanted the sand for the kids but the truth is it’s as much for me as it is for them! I love to hang out in the sand and I love to watch Noah spend hours and hours digging and piling and rolling around in the beautiful sand! It was a gorgeous day and I am so excited that I captured these awesome images of Noah in the newly built sand box!
I know we will spend hours and hours at this glorious spot over the years and I can’t wait to watch all of the little ones enjoy playing, exploring and imagining their days away right here!
This is right in front of were the new house will be, which we are breaking ground on in just a week!! We are so excited to get started and will be sharing lots of updates here along the way!

Carol– What a gift Kelly! You have taken my breath away with these beafituul images of my family. You gave us such freedom to explore and spend time as a family and all along the way you found those moments that reflect us. I love the silliness, the stillness and the beauty that comes from my children. And you nailed all of these. I can’t wait for our part 2. Just have to figure out our outfits again.
