I have been having a blast celebrating Easter for the last month with candy making, crafting, Easter basket shopping and more! I have been enjoying the colors of the season, the smiles on my babies faces as we prepare special treats for friends and family and the promise of green grass and warmer weather (hopefully warmer weather!)
I love all of the joy that the season of Easter brings and now that Easter weekend is finally upon us I am reminded to celebrate the true meaning of Easter not just on Easter Sunday but everyday. I am so thankful for this fabulous, crazy, exhausting, love filled season of my life! God has overflowed my life with so many blessings and I want to glorify Him!
Good Friday is the day that God sent His Son, His only Son to die for us on the cross, I have tears in my eyes as I write this because I can not imagine that kind of love or that kind of pain. I am so blessed to have a God who loves me so much and so graciously forgives me each and everyday that I sin and fall short. A God who loves so selflessly that he doesn’t even want me to feel guilty or pain but wants me to come and fall into His arms so that He can wash me clean and put a smile on my face and bring me close to Him so he can say I love you today and always. What a love and what grace. I am thankful today that even though I can never live up to or deserve God’s love that each and everyday it is given to me. I am loved and I pray that I can share that love and be full of grace the way that God has called me to be a mom who can help teach my children to have gracious loving hearts that are full of forgiveness and love for others. We are blessed and we will rejoice for the gift of eternal life today and always!
I hope that you all have a wonderful Easter weekend and get spend lots of time with your precious families and children! I am going to try and focus on all the little blessings that I sometimes miss because I am caught up in the daily things of life and really taste the sweetness of this life!
