5 tips for a successful morning

I’m so excited to be sharing with you today five tips for making your morning more successful! As we get back into a school and work schedule this fall it’s important to have a nice routine to keep everyone happy and healthy.
- We start our morning out with lots of hugs, kisses and smiles for everyone, even though everyone may not be in the best mood first thing in the morning I try to set the tone by being very positive and cheerful and getting everyone else on the same page. Noah and I are not morning people, but Libby and Finn are. This can make things a little difficult at times but I really try and focus on being cheerful and focusing on the positive. We talk about fun things we did the day before or exciting things we have planned for the day ahead.
- I have never been a big breakfast eater which is not a good thing, but about a year ago my husband started making us smoothies for breakfast and we all fell in love with them. Now Noah and I take turns making the smoothie in the morning for everyone to share. It is a healthy, fast, and easy start to the day and something we all enjoy.
- I’ve taken probiotics on and off over the years for stomach issues but I’ve recently become more consistent about taking Renew Life Extra Care 30 Billion Probiotics. They have 3 times more good bacteria in every capsule compared to the leading probiotic brands daily and have seen a huge improvement in my gut health. About two months ago I started having the kids take the Kids Ultimate Flora probiotic once I realized what a huge difference it could make in their overall health, not just their gut health. The complaining of tummy aches has gone way down and the kids love taking the Renew Life Probiotic Kids. They are chewable and taste great! They even ask me, is it time to take my pill?! A strong gut makes for strong people. When we all feel better, everything seems to go better.
- I like to have everyone do a few simple chores around the house each morning to help pull things together and leave us all feeling a little more organized. Things like unloading the dishwasher, picking up toys off the floor, throwing in a load of laundry and giving the animals food and water are just a few but make us all feel productive and ready to tackle the day. I always feel so much better knowing that we accomplished a few things around the house before getting to work and school.
- Last but not least I like to look over or make my to do list before getting the day going so I can prioritize what needs to get done so I have time for it all. I’m the kind of person who likes to check all the hard stuff off my list right away so that I don’t feel so much pressure towards the end of the day so I often tackle my biggest moist important projects first thing in the morning when I’m able to and that really helps relive the stress for the rest of the day.
