In Newport we stayed in a wonderful place called the Ivy Lodge http://www.ivylodge.com/ This was a wonderful, clean place and a very nice location. I loved the inn keeper! She was very sweet and helpful. She suggested wonderful places to eat and shop which was very fun for me! The Ivy lodge was decorated very well and the breakfasts were delicious. My favorite part was how child friendly they were at the Ivy Lodge. It was so hard finding a kid friendly place to stay in Newport and now that we found the Ivy lodge we know we will always have a place to stay when we head to RI. If you are planning on making a trip to the Newport area definitely look into the Ivy lodge you will be sure to have a wonderful stay!
While staying in Newport we went on a the cliff walk and a bike ride which were both very fun and provided gorgeous views of the ocean and some very beautiful houses. Here are some images of our treks.
