Smoothies for Kids Round Up!

A delicious cold smoothie is a perfect start to hot summer days. I can’t think of anything more refreshing then beginning my morning with a creamy fruity beverage that’s bursting with flavor. I find myself making smoothies almost every single day for my family and Finn happens to be my number one smoothie fan! I love the way his eyes widen when he see’s me whipping up one of his favorites! My kids and I have tried and true recipes that we’ve collected over the years like our strawberry peaches and triple berry smoothie! To keep things interesting I created a weekly line up of our all time favorite recipes that rotates every other week. I usually try to introduce them to something new, and if they love it, we add it to the line up!

I love that smoothies are a healthy alternative breakfast for kids. They are packed with so many good ingredients and are a great way to give your kids their daily fruits and veggies. I find that most kids aren’t huge fans of veggies, so smoothies are a perfect way for sneaking in a few healthy greens into their diet! Spinach is a great neutral green to add to any smoothie recipe. However, if your kids are a little grossed out by greens you’ll want to mask that deep green color with some delicious blueberries or rich cherries!

I was so excited when I had the idea to do Smoothies for Kid’s Round Up! There are so many great recipes out there and I know I will use this post myself to try out all these new finds! I hope you all enjoy and find some new favorites to add to your list of smoothie recipes you love!
