If you are anything like me, you have a collection of cute washi tape rolls laying around the house. You love them but not quite sure what to do with them! Here are 7 cute ways to use your washi tape!
In case you don’t know what washi tape is, it’s cute tape that you can reposition. Think post-it notes only stronger & in tape roll form. You can take it off, move it around & decorate with it without it damage to whatever you put it on. You can pick them up on Etsy, Amazon, craft stores & even at Target! I keep a roll in my purse at all times…you would be surprised how many times I have used them while on the go!
Here are just a few of the ways I have used my washi tape:
#1 iPad cover
I picked a solid color iPad case just so I could decorate it! Since I can take it off without damage to the case, I switch up my look by changing my tape!
#2 Coasters
I had some outdated coasters that I still wanted to use but they had lost their cool factor so I spiced them up with some black confetti & flamingos!
#3 Bling out your scissors
Why should the handle get all the fun? By adding some coordinating washi tape to the blade it will add some pizazz to your next craft project!
#4 Envelopes & Cards
I never send out snail mail without decorating the envelope or box! At Christmas time I buy holiday themed washi to deck the halls of my Christmas envelopes! You can also make your own cards with washi tape…the possibilities are endless when it comes to stationary!
#5 Charger & Cords
I have so many cords that I like to color code them so I can quickly grab the right cord. You can even add some washi tape to your charger to give it that cute factor!
#6 Tin Can to Pen(cil) Holder
Eat some soup, then turn it into a holder for your pens, pencils or markers! Who knew an old tin could be so cute!
#7 Clothes Pins
Make laundry cute again! Add some washi tape to a clothes pin to make it cute! Glue a magnet onto the back & hang those important papers or your child’s artwork to the fridge!
