I love taking my princess out on special mommy, daughter dates! Last week I surprised Miss Libby by picking her up from her Gigi’s with her Ariel princess dress in the car and told her we were going on a date to Target! She was so excited and we had the best time. It is so important to take some time away from the everyday and just enjoy some time individually with your kiddos if you are able too. I find some of my best memories come from our one on one time together when they have mommy all to themselves.
On this trip to target we were registering for the babies baby shower, but not for our baby. We are hosting a baby shower to celebrate our little one who will be joining us in June but instead of having people bring gifts for her we are having them get gifts for babies in our local foster care system. We registered for lots of the basics and can’t wait to put together care packages for these precious little ones who have nothing.
I loved getting to teach Libby about how important it is to spread love and care for those in need. It was so special having her help register for the gifts for these babies and I know this will be something we will always remember doing as we wait for the arrival of our new sweet baby girl!
