My Favorite Nighttime Snacks!

Many of you have been wondering what my favorite, go-to, simple snacks are for when I’m crunched on time. This recipe is one of my favorites; delicious chocolate covered peanut butter banana bites! 

I love the combination of banana, peanut butter and chocolate together, but who doesn’t? This recipe is super easy to make and oh so healthy. I try to make this about once a week because it’s a quick and healthy treat for when you’re craving something sweet!  

Chocolate Covered Banana Bites Recipe

1 or 2 bananas

Semi sweet chocolate chips

Peanut butter

Start by cutting the banana into round slices and spread peanut butter on them, creating little peanut butter banana sandwiches.  Place them in the freezer for about 1 hour. Once the hour is up, pour semi sweet chocolate chips in a bowl and melt them in the microwave for about 30 seconds.  Pull them out, stir them, and place bowl back in microwave for another 30 seconds until the chocolate chips are thoroughly melted. Take the frozen banana peanut butter bites out of the freezer and dip them into the chocolate. Place the dipped banana bites on a plate and place them back into the freezer for 20 minutes for chocolate to harden or you can just eat them right away!
