You won’t be able to stop eating these!
Who doesn’t love M&M’s, especially in a cookie? The Easter M&M’s are my favorite for the obvious reason that they are pastel. I had some leftover from Easter and I remember as I child I have always loved them in cookies. There is just something special about a crunchy M&M’s in a soft cookie. I decided to create a new recipe using my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, cut it done and change it just a bit an add M&M’s to it!
These cookies turned out AMAZING! The kids loved them too and really enjoyed making them with me. I put half chocolate chips and half M&Ms into the recipe. After I rolled the dough into balls I added M&M’s to the top of the dough balls to give them an extra pop of color. If you want your M&Ms to stick out then add some more on top before you put them into the oven.
Everyone went crazy for these and they went really fast. The kids loved them so much and so did I! It is such a great soft chewy cookie with the crunchy M&M’s in there, it just makes them so delicious. I will definitely be making these again. I am not a fan of the normal colored M&M’s and Easter is over so you can’t find the pastel ones in stores anymore. I was able to find a place online that sells the individual colored M&M’s, so you can use whatever colors you want!
I was so excited to find this website because it’s fun to be able to choose which colors you would want. It would make for a great themed party, like a baby shower, gender reveal, or even a birthday party. These cookies are really fun to dress up and for a bonus they taste delicious!
