I am so glad I had the opportunity to visit Hillside SPCA in Pottsville PA last week to photograph and get to know some of their beautiful cats that are available to adopt!! They truly love these kitties there and do so much to give them a comfy place to stay until they find their forever homes! During the month of June I will be sharing here on the blog and on other social media to encourage cat adoptions!!! I took the day to visit this awesome shelter to show you all how friendly and loving shelter kitties can be. So often they get a bad rap because people often think they may be mean or unsocialized but so often that is not the case. So many of the kitties I had the chance to see were so lovable and it was extremely hard for me not to bring them all home with me! If you have been considering adding a kitty to your family I strongly encourage you to head to the Hillside SPCA and take a peek at one of these babies listed below or go to your local shelter to find out more about adopting a cat. It could be a wonderful thing for both you and a sweet kitty in need of a home!

I loved getting to know all these sweet kitties and photographing them! Cats are so fun to photograph because they have such personality!
This is Bandit, she came in with three kittens that have all been adopted. There were 15 other adult cats that came in with her, she had been living with a man who took in stray cats. Bandit as you can see is a little lover! She couldn’t help but be rubbing up against me and rolling around at my feet looking for some love!
Meet Kelsey! She is already spayed and ready for a loving home! She was sweet and spunky and pretty as can be! She was a stray and came in with her sister who has already been adopted. She’s about a year old and would make a wonderful little lap kitty!
This is Murphy, he was such a charmer! Look at those eyes, I feel like he is trying to tell me something! He was so sweet and friendly. Murphy was abandoned by his family and is looking for a new home and family to charm!
Who doesn’t love an itty bitty kitten?! Hillside SPCA had lots of little kittens to choose from too! Give them a call at (570) 622-7769 or visit their website here to find out more!
I shared about when we adopted our sweet Chloe a few posts back and we would love to have you share your kitty stories to by hashtagging them #myrescuestory , the more you share the more Purina donates to help fund kitty adoptions during the month of June!
