Gathering my family for outdoor dining has become one of my favorite parts of our day. I love being able to see my family around our Pottery Barn Table immersed in conversation and enjoying a delicious meal together. For as long as I can remember I have dreamed of having an outdoor space where my family could enjoy some delicious treats and each other’s company. I would search through magazines, books and online for ideas that matched what I had imagined and I couldn’t wait for the day of bringing that dream to life.
When Phil and I were designing our house, there were several images of homes that reminded me of my dream. Beautifully designed outdoor spaces where a family would be gathered around homebake tables and happily dining outside. Unfortunately, the layout of our house and yard didn’t fit that image when we first built our home. It took many years of preparation for us to finally do some landscaping that was actually completed this summer! Once we put in fences and a few paths in the yard I began to see my dream of outdoor dining become a reality.
We had created this perfect little spot on our yard that would be absolutely perfect for outdoor dining. My dream was within reach! To help make my dreams come true Pottery Barn sent us this beautiful outdoor dining set that includes a gorgeous table, set of chairs and umbrella. Also, this beautiful little place setting on the table is from Pottery Barn Kids and we love them! All these pieces are perfect for creating the perfect dining experience for my sweet family in the beautiful outdoors!
We have spent so much time out on this table since it’s arrival. We’ve had our lunches, dinners, family gatherings and many other activities together at this table. Sometimes the kids and I will go right outside and do our schoolwork, art projects, or anything that requires a sturdy space. There are definitely a lot of snack parties that happen out here as well and it has been such a special place to gather around. We enjoy it so much. I feel blessed knowing we will create many memories with this Pottery Barn Table for years to come!
