Make every day a celebration!
I have been wanting to make a confetti cookie recipe for so long! I’m
This recipe was really easy to make and I just love how they turned out with the sprinkles. I added some sprinkles on top as well as mixing the sprinkles into the batter. This cookie I felt doesn’t last very long with freshness. On day 3 or 4 they just weren’t tasting as good as they did on day 1. I highly recommend making these for a party or a gathering because they are so fun but also so they get eaten up right away. I plan to try another version of these that don;t use cake batter, because I loved how they turned out and looked with the sprinkles. I want to see if they will taste different and last longer then these did.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 3/4 cup Flour
- 16oz Cake Batter Mix (I used a strawberry mix for a fun flavor and color twist)
- 1/4 -1/2 cup Sprinkles of your choice (I used Sweetapolita sprinkles)
- Extra sprinkles to roll the dough in
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350
- Cream together the butter and sugar for about 1 minute
- Add the eggs and vanilla, mix until everything is combined
- Add the cake mix and flour. Mix until all ingredients are combined
- Stir in the sprinkles
- Scoop the dough into balls on a cookie sheet
- Take the dough balls and dip them into extra sprinkles (optional)
- Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before putting them on a wire rack
These cookies were so fun and they are so gorgeous! Anything with sprinkles I feel turns out looking so magical. Sweetapolita has the cutest sprinkles, I love buying them and they just look so good on everything! I hope you enjoy these and if you have a great
