Bunny Bait Popcorn Recipe

With Easter being my favorite holiday I love trying new recipes that are simple but delicious. Maybe it’s because of all the cute fluffy animals, or maybe the pastel colors, or because spring is near. No matter the reason Easter just makes me one happy girl. It also puts me in a baking mood, I get to make all these fun recipes with pastel colors!!

We eat popcorn maybe once a week, usually with a movie night. So I figured why not spiff it up and make it fun. Noah loves to make popcorn so I put him on the job to whip up the popcorn for us.

You will need:

  • Popcorn
  • Chocolate melts
  • Your favorite candy add-ins

First, you need to whip up the popcorn, once it is popped put it into a big mixing bowl.

Second, melt down the chocolate melts. We used pink, yellow, turquoise, and white for this.

Once they are melted add about 1/3 cup of each to the popcorn and mix it around.

Third, add your add in’s. We used mini vanilla wafers, chocolate eggs, and little pearl candies.

Fourth, once everything is mixed in, spread the popcorn out on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Spread it evenly, and then take the remaining chocolate and drizzle it all over the popcorn. This helps with the popcorn sticking together and then you can make it into chunks.

Finally, let it cool and then enjoy!!

This recipe was so simple and so yummy! It’s definitely something I will be making in the near future. I hope you enjoy it and let us know how you like it! Tag us in your posts on Instagram @livesweet and use the hashtag #livesweetrecipes for a chance to be featured in our stories!
