Sweet, sticky, salty perfection!
This homemade caramel popcorn is one of my family’s absolute favorites. I have been making it for about 8 or 10 years now and it is always a hit! I recently made it last fall for Halloween. It had rained this past Halloween so we weren’t really able to take the kids out, so instead, we had a little party at our house. I made this homemade caramel popcorn for everyone who came to the party and they all raved about it. This made me realize what a fun and special recipe this is since a lot of people don’t make homemade caramel corn. Ever since then, I have been wanting to share it with you, but with such a busy schedule I didn’t have time. Today is the day I finally found some time and I get to share this wonderful recipe with you!!
I am so excited for you all to try this at home. It really is an easy recipe, it’s a bit time-consuming, but if you make a big batch of it you can store it away. This popcorn stores really well, as long as you put it into an airtight container it will last you up to a week, that’s if you don’t eat it all first! We all love to snack on this all week, but it really is best right out of the over. My kids love to be able to go over and get a cup full of this yumminess. It’s great for a party since you can make it ahead of time and it just looks pretty sitting on a dessert table.
It has a nice salty and sweet flavor to it that is perfect for any craving. It works perfectly for a snack on the go, just put some in a bag and take it with you. This is really universal it is great for kids and adults, really anyone will enjoy this yummy snack. I hope you all love it and try this recipe, make sure to let us know if you make it!
