Sewn Treat Bags!

I have been trying to make sure I take some time this summer to get my craft on. You know how I love to create things but it is sometimes hard to fit it into an always packed schedule. I am really making it a goal of mine though this summer to create on a regular basis because I think it keeps me fresh and cheery! A few weeks ago my sweety was on a trip out west so we had a fun girls crafting weekend. I got so much accomplished, it was a blast and now I have some fun projects to share with you!

I am always looking for fun ways to package cute candy and this is now one of my new favorites! I originally saw a fun idea similar to this over on one of my favorite blogs Delightful Distractions

Supply List:

Glassine Bags and Green Tags: Shop Sweet Lulu

Fabric is from my favorite fabric store in Tunkhannock PA: Endless Mountain Quiltworks

Candy Non-Pariels- Chocolates By Leopold

Stickers- Moo

Start by filling glassine bags with some of your favorite treats

I then took fabric and cut it to size with pinking sheers to give the fabric a fun edge. I found some fun tags, ribbon and stickers to finish decorating the bag and then sewed the fabric and tag onto the top of the bag.

I hope you get to try these out for someone sweet in your life!

Pin this idea for later!
