While I was working on old blog posts I came across these adorable pictures of Miss Libby dressed as a waitress hanging in our pink kitchenette and I couldn’t help but share them! This kitchenette was one of those just going for it kind of moves, a little YOLO if you will! I chose every tiny little piece of everything included in our house and making all the decisions was so much work and took so much time. I loved it but it was exhausting so when it finally came time to pick the colors for the kitchenette I just kind of wanted to have fun and not over think it. The first thing that came to mind was mint and pink since they’re my favorites and when Fil agreed I said ok lets go for it! Needless to say it was one of the best decisions in the house I made and I am still madly in love with it!
The kitchenette is down in our basement between our bedrooms in the kids playroom. They don’t use this space a ton now while they’re little but I envision it as the teenage hang out spot and I can’t wait to fill these cupboards and drawers with snacks for them and all of their friends. For now I love to use it in fun photography shoots and that tile sink is perfect for all of our pet baths!
