Newport RI

So I have been getting myself all back together from vacation and have done about 7 loads of laundry along with all of the unpacking and other things that go along with being away from home for a week but I have finally made a little time to sit down and share a little about all of the fun we had on our trip!

We went to Newport RI for a few days and then headed over to Cape Cod for the rest of the week. These were both wonderful places and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a fun but not to far vacation to check them out. I will be doing a post on both of the places we stayed because they were wonderful and very kid friendly!

In Newport we did a lot of walking looking at the gorgeous old mansions. We did a few tours and walked along the cliff walk which had beautiful views of the ocean. We hung out at the beach in the evening and played in the sand with Noah. We even had Thai(one of my favorites) for dinner one night on the beach which was so much fun! Noah was a little weary of the sand on his feet at first but once he got used to it he loved it. He loved climbing the rocks with his daddy and digging holes in the sand.

I enjoyed spending so much time with my 2 boys and just being together and hanging out! I also got to go and do a little shopping on my own while Fil watched Noah during his nap which was such a nice treat! I will be posting some reviews on some fun new toys I found for Noah!
