Kid-Friendly Granola Balls

There is nothing I love more than finding a great healthy snack for my kids to enjoy.  My healthy granola balls are just the thing to hold your kids over till meal time. My kids have loved these granola balls for years and always look forward to a fresh batch.  I tried many recipes in search for the perfect one that is both healthy and tasty but I finally found it. That’s why I am so excited to share my version of kid-friendly granola balls.

Creating the perfect granola ball recipe for my kids has been a fun and fulfilling process. I came up with this recipe by trying out a bunch of different ones and comparing the quality of ingredients.  I found that some recipes focus on being overly healthy and don’t taste very good, while others focus more on the taste, but don’t have as many beneficial ingredients. So I combined together my top favorites and came up with a combination that I believe works for everyone!

My kids had the final word when it came to this snack so I can say for certain that they are kid approved. Having sweet treats inside that blend beautifully with the other healthy ingredients is really what makes this recipe so special. The main ingredients of this recipe are a blend of peanut butter, oats and almonds with an added sweetness of chocolate chips and dates.  This snack is a great source of energy for growing kids and keeps them satisfied throughout their day.

These Granola balls are a hit in my family and everyone loves them! I always make sure to have my fridge fully stocked with these healthy treats so my kids have something available for them to eat. This recipe is great for big families because it makes a huge batch that can last up to one or two weeks.  Something that definitely helps me spread out how often I make them. However, if your desire to make less than this recipe requires I recommend doing half measurements for a smaller batch. They’re definitely the go-to-snack in our household.

My Finny loves to help me in the kitchen when it’s time to restock our fridge. Granola balls are his favorite treat and I couldn’t help but capture a few photos of him scarfing down a ball. He is the cutest little helper and I love these moments of bonding with him over his favorite snack. He loves to have these at any time of the day. It’s definitely one of those things I feel really good about feeding him and believe they are the perfect snack for any family.
