I hope this finds you all partied out but excited for the new year to come! We laid low here last night as Noah has been sick most of the week but we still had a very fun night with a Madagscar 3 movie, some root beer and cheese puffs (what more could a 4 year old boy want)!
I want to start by wishing you all a very blessed 2013. 2012 was another great year for us, lots of fun, play, work, family, friends, laugher, tears, cuddling, traveling and just loving life. Although we did not have any huge life events take place in 2012 we did make one of our biggest decisions as a family yet. We made the decision to start the adoption process. This one was huge for us, it is not a decision you make lightly so we thought long and hard and prayed even harder but boy am I glad we decided to make this big decision. In less than a week we will find out the date that our little sweetheart will enter into our lives. I can’t even believe that it is happening. Tears fill my eyes as I write this at the joy I am feeling to finally get to see, touch and hold our baby. I am amazed at how this process has brought our little family even closer together and I am so excited to see us grow together even more through the rest of our journey. I have to thank both my husband and Noah for being so wonderfully sweet to me through this whole process. It is very different than a pregnancy but just like every new mom to be I have needed lots of support and hugs and they have overflowed me with both!
Now to prepare for all that 2013 will bring. It will be a big year for us and I can’t wait to get started! I hope you all have a wonderful and joyous 2013!
