Valentine’s Day is full of chocolate, hearts, roses, pink and red everywhere you turn. As much as anyone else I love all the things above, but sometimes you just want something different for that special day. So why not create something delicious, with different Valentine’s Day elements? From this type of inspiration, I decided to create a simple Parfait recipe that is on the healthier side, but still gives you all those Valentine’s Day feels.

Ingredients for the Galentine's Day Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Cherry or Strawberry Yogurt
  • Graham Crackers (we used honey flavored)
  • Chocolate Cookies
  • Strawberries

Directions:

  • First, put 2 sheets of graham crackers into a baggy and crush them. I just crushed them with my hands, but a rolling pin or food processor would work as well. Do the same for the chocolate cookies.
  • Second, coat the bottom of the glass with the crushed graham crackers.
  • Third, add a layer of yogurt on top of the crushed graham crackers smoothing it out.
  • Fourth, add a layer of the crushed chocolate cookie on top of the yogurt.
  • Fifth, repeat steps 2-4 until you get to your desired amount of parfait.
  • Lastly, cut up some strawberries and add them to the top along with graham cracker pieces.

That’s it, that is all it takes to create this delicious Galentine’s Day Parfait. It is perfect to indulge in yourself or to share with a loved one.
