Everyone’s favorite breakfast!

This recipe is so yummy and is a great one to prepare ahead and pop in the oven before you are ready to serve it since it can stay in the refrigerator over night! It makes the perfect dish for breakfast, brunch or breakfast for dinner! Such a special treat the whole family will enjoy!

French Toast Bake with Hood Country Style Cottage Cheese
Base
3/4 loaf of bread of choice
1 1/4 Hood Country Style Cottage Cheese
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
5 eggs
2 1/4 cup whole milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup brown sugar
Topping
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions
1) grease an 8×8 pan and set aside
2) cut half of your bread up into chunks and put in greased pan
3) mix cottage cheese and sugar and drop around onto bread in pan
4) add the rest of the bread to the pan
5) mix remaining ingredients in a bowl until well combined and pour over bread in pan
6) cover and place in refrigerator and let soak for at least 3 hours or over night
Preheat over to 350 degrees while preparing topping
for the topping:
1) mix flour, brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl
2) cut cold or slightly softened butter into chunks and blend it into flour mixture to make crumbs, you can use a pastry cutter or your hands
3) sprinkle over bread mixture and bake at 350 for roughly 30-40 minutes or until crumbs start turning a golden brown
Serve right out of the oven, cover and refrigerate leftovers and reheat in oven or microwave to enjoy again and again!
