Fabulous Fingerpaints

We have decided to repost a few of our favorites from the previous blog so that new people stopping by can see them!

This is one of our favorite summer activities…

Homemade finger-paints are nontoxic, washable, and always available. Stir together 4 tablespoons of sugar and ½ cup cornstarch together; add 2 cups of cold water, and heat over medium heat until the mixture is thick (the mixture will thicken more as it cools) Divide into four or more containers, and add food coloring as desired.

This was so easy to make and so much fun! Noah and I loved painting together. IT took him a little while to get into it, but after a few minutes he dug his little hands right in. I love that it is made from all safe ingredients, so if they do get any in their mouth you don’t have to worry about it! Try this with kids of any age, and you will all have fun!

Have a fresh and fun day,

Lindsey
