Happy Memorial Day! I hope you are all having a wonderful holiday weekend and getting to enjoy this gorgeous weather!
I have been wanting to try and make our own bubble solution so that we could do giant bubbles and yesterday happened to be the perfect day for it. I had done this as a child with my family and remember having so much fun! Noah wasn’t quite old enough to get into it but my cousin and I had a blast making huge bubbles! I have included the recipe for the solution below, it is best to mix it and then let it settle a little bit before trying to make your bubbles. I tied a string to a dowel for my wand and my cousin used a clothes hanger and shaped it into a circle for hers. We then put the solution in a kiddie pool.
Recipe from Martha Stewart Living
Bubble Solution
3 cups water
1 cups liquid dishwashing detergent
1/3 cup corn syrup
Bowl or pan for bubble solution
Mix solution together and let set for awhile. If you find you can’t make good bubbles add a little more detergent and corn syrup.
I hope you all have as much fun as we did, this one will bring out the kid in all of us!
