Taking the kids and all of our fuzzy crew on walks is one of my all time favorite things to do! It’s so fun to be out in the fresh air exploring and enjoying all my loves. It’s amazing to me how well they all do and the funny things that happen when you get that many animals and two small children together.
People often ask me do the animals wear leashes when you take them for walks? The answer is no, they all just follow along through the trails and fields, even the cat! We just call them if they get a bit behind and up they coming running.
Libby loves throwing rocks in the lake and Noah loves skipping rocks. Everyone takes turn racing each other along the path and finding feathers and sticks to play with. It’s like my refresh button. I always know I will have a much better day when we take the time to go for our walk, it doesn’t happen everyday but I try to get out at least two or three times a week.
