A quick trip to Florida and back home again!

Sorry I have been MIA for a few days, we had to make a quick whirlwind trip to Florida this past weekend to take care of a few things for the adoption. It was a wonderful but totally emotional trip and I came home full of lots of amazing memories and many new emotions to go through before our little sweetheart arrives in just 2 months! I am exhausted both physically and emotionally but I couldn’t be more thankful or overwhelmed with joy with all of the blessings in my life and the thought that very soon we will have one more to love! I know many of you have been thinking and praying for us through this whole process and I can’t say thank you enough. God has truly blessed us in so many ways by providing us with a wonderful adoption experience. The whole process certainly cannot come without some reality and tears but I have so much gratitude and love for adoption now, a process that has become a huge part of our life. There is so much to learn and process but I wouldn’t trade it for anything and I am so happy to have all of you to share it with!

Since we were down in Florida at Christmas we of course had to spend some time in Disney! I have never been to Disney at Christmas so I think I loved it as much as Noah. Noah’s favorite thing was getting to meet the characters and the princess’s were his favorite! He even got a big smooch on the cheek from Aurora after he snuck a kiss from her!! It was also extra fun because Seneca got to go with us to help out with Noah during the adoption stuff(thank you so much Sen, we love you!) so we all got to have fun in Disney together!! It was beautiful seeing everything decorated for Christmas and I am so glad that we got to have a few special days with Noah on one of our last trips before our little sweetheart joins us!

  • AvenleaLindsay, I like how you save some pictures for your blog and don’t put all of them on instagram. That way I can see new ones when I read one of your posts! I really enjoy your blog!!! Glad you had fun in Florida!
