Holiday Housewalk 2015 Surprise House

We are so excited and honored to have our home be a part of Jennifer Rizzo’s Holiday Housewalk!

Christmas has always been my favorite to decorate for! When I redid our house colors to everything pastel though decorating in the traditional reds and greens became a problem, I decided to start fresh and use vintage inspired pastel Christmas decor to decorate with my own style and favorite colors! It’s wonderful to be able to have our Christmas decorations go so well with all of our everyday decor. Everything gets so magical around her during the holidays!

I love collecting special holiday pieces through the years, it’s fun for different pieces to have different meaning and stories to go with them. I usually collect a few new things each year and I love changing things up when I get them out each November to decorate. Our tree is oh so special to me. We get it off of our family farm each year as a family with my parents and then all decorate it together with family and friends. I use all different kinds and sizes of ornaments along with felt garland, tassel garland, pom poms and more. It’s crazy and eclectic and my favorite!

Some of the ornaments are from my grandmother which makes them so special. We just designed a new line of holiday pillows this year for our Live Sweet Shop so I have had lots of fun putting them throughout the house as well!
