Pretzel’s are a great afternoon snack, but this is a fun way to make them a little more special, and a quite a bit cuter!
Melt chocolate over the stove in a double boiler. Make sure the top pan of the boiler does not touch the bottom pan. Also, be careful that no water touches the chocolate. This will cause it to not maintain it’s smooth shiny surface. Dip each of the pretzel rods into softened peanutbutter, then in the chocolate. Lay on a sheet of wax paper, and sprinkle with non nonpareil’s or sprinkles.
These are so yummy and fun for kids to help make. If you don’t have pretzel rods, gram crackers make a great substitute!
